I need help on a

EZStruder Cold End Kit

It says it can be used for 3 or 1.75mm filament but the hole is much too small for 3mm. Do I have to drill it out? How about the guide to the cold end, do I have to bore this out as well?

I am talking about the bowden adapter.

It works with a 3mm hotend as a direct drive see the video at http://reprap.org/wiki/EZStruder
