Hey,

not sure if this is the right sub-forum, but has anyone already experience with this board(s):

The thing is that I'm planning to implement a triple or quad extruder (Kraken in this case). Dual extrusion is running fine now (with stock hot ends and ezstruder). Not that this is getting boring, but 2 or 3 colors plus disolveable support would make me even more happy. :-)

I have a Kraken on the way but decided to go with the Azteeg X3 Pro board that supports 5 extruders too.

I think Xnaron ordered one to see if the firmware running on the faster ARM will improve an issue he/we seem to be having with our prints showing a vertical pattern on the prints.

Ok. I see...

So it boils down into porting repetier (which contains some routines in assembler) vs. 8-Bit AtMega (which will run without changing repetier).

Are you running the SD8825 in 1/32 microstepping?

I'm waiting for my X3 Pro - I just ordered it on Sunday. But, 32 micro steps is interesting and I'll certainly try it!

Things are changing rapidly, every month something new and cool pops up!
