Show virtual print

I have been using repetier host with the built in slicer to control my orion.

With minimal tweaking I have been getting fairly good prints with t-glas.

My main question is when I run a print and watch the machine it does a random line across the part or instead of printing in a circle it does 90 degrees then steps back onto itself.
Anyone have a good way to see this before printing and then clean up the line of gcode?

Maybe try another slicer?

Thanks,
Pete

Trying another slicer is your best bet. Slic3R is the built in slicer and it has always had the most illogical print paths of any slicer out there. In the end the print seems to look okay
but it seems to waste a lot of time to get to the finished product. I use a slicer named Cura.

Try this for pre-viewing gcode. http://gcode.ws/ It's an online tool.
