PLA Stuck to Glass!

I don't know whether or not this belongs in "troubleshooting" as my print came out beautifully... I woke up to my completed monster this morning, but it's absolutely and completely stuck to the glass!! I can't with any reasonable amount of force remove it. I tried running it under water, I can't get a spatula, nor metal ruler, nor anything else to slide underneath. What do I do? I feel like if I apply any more force that I'm going to break the glass. I used Elmer's Washable Glue stick.

You know, I always figure it out AFTER posting a topic, sorry about that, popped cleanly off once I stuck it in the freezer for 10 minutes. No resistance at all. Print looks beautiful though, my crappy cell phone camera doesn't do it justice.

It does look nice, the color is fantastic.

Thanks. :) I think I messed up my bed level when I tried to remove it from the glass. I'll have to recalibrate, because my print that I'm testing right now is an utter mess! I also think I messed up my repetier / slic3r settings... this thing just started acting insane. Oh well, such is life... perfect prints from the get-go... it wasn't going to last.

print one of these and try a razor blade under the lip.. it has alot finer edge than a spatula

I broke an exacto knife blade once trying to remove a print.
I've also resorted to hammers, on prints where I can't lift an edge, freezing doesn't work and I can't get leverage. I think most of the force is the flat surfaces mating, rather that any adhesion, if you can break the seal they usually just pop off.
Luckily it isn't something that happens often.

Will indeed print that, for the sake of having it around, thanks... but I found the freezer trick worked a treat. There was absolutely no resistance after 10 minutes in the freezer, it came off effortlessly.

I was skeptical about the freezing working... I mean, the science makes sense, but from how stuck it was, I didn't think it was going to happen.

I have had the same issue with a local brand of filament - I ended up getting it off with much trouble and breaking!

For that particular brand I now lay down my glue stick, then wipe most of it away - leaving just a fine layer of glue stick. Perfect glassy base layers and easy pop-off!

For future reference.
