Hot end is full of melted ABS (not the nozzle)

This is a bit embarrassing but i have stuffed up.
So i cleaned up a clogged nozzle a few days ago and in the process the bowden tubing from the nozle to the peek section fell out. At the time i didn't know there was any tubing there, i thought there was only the one main tube from the ezstruder, so i left out, connected the main bowden tube and continued printing. So today it started seeping PLA from the cracks of the nozzle to the heat block.. I managed to clear it all out by heating it up, removing the nozzle and scooping it out with a tooth pick.
I then loaded some ABS and started the pre heat, in that time the abs must have filled the hot end and is now blocked. I heated it up to about 240 but it doesn't seem to be enough to get it out.
Im going to remove it from the printer to have a better look, but im just worried i wont be able to remove it with heat as i will melt the peek?
Any known methods to fixing this issue?

If it is ABS then soaking in Acetone should dissolve the ABS.

If I'm not mistaken, the whole hotend can be soaked in Acetone.

I was trying to look for another way
If that's what has to happen so be it
I have a e3d v6 on its way but I still need to print a Mount for it so I'm in a bit of a pickle

I wouldn't bet it's safe to leave PEEK in acetone for a long period, PLA contains no styrene and isn't disolved by acetone, but it is damaged by it.

Oh crap, I missed that. Yes, don't soak the Peek in acetone!

Thanks all, yea i didn't think it was a good idea to put the peek in acetone haha
Ill attempt to clean it up tonight.. Ill take some photos too so hopefully know one makes this mistake.

Could you drop the whole thing in Acetone and just order a new PEEK thingy?

Got access to a drill press? Remove the hot end, up-end it in a vice with soft jaws. Screw the nozzle out (it might be a swine, but it will come). Drill out as much ABS as you can. Put it back into the printer and re-connect it without a nozzle, run it up to 240ºC. With any luck, the remaining ABS below the PEEK should drop out and you can remove the hot end below the PEEK break.
Now pop the top end back into the drill and, as you don't have a thread to worry about any more, drill it to full width of the hole.

Sure can, the new peek costs around $9 on the Seemecnc.com site.

We are looking to get a drill press for the shed at home but haven't gotten around to it yet.
Ill have to just do it in the vice with a cordless drill. Im waiting for the e3d so im not too fussed but i still want to fix it

Here's your excuse for the press. DON'T do it with a hand drill - you won't be able to keep the bit colinear with the hot end and you'll end up with the drill on the piss and chewing out metal.

I have used this printer as an excuse to buy so many little tool bits its not funny haha
I bought a little dremel, one of the handiest tools

Ah, the mighty dremel - if you used a ball end bit on the dremel and went gently you could probably get most of it out that way.

so here it was it looks like inside. Im going to take eagles advice and just buy a new peek and use this as a spare .
Now i just want my e3d to hurry up!!

Wow, that one is bad! If you are going to continue to use the SeemeCNC hotends I would get a peek section to repair
that one and another one to have as a spare. I am a believer in having spare parts, especially in areas like hotends and
fans.

Hey, I happen to LIKE Dremel tools, I'm just not crazy enough to think it's appropriate for precision work.
