Hello everyone, new here.. Not much into the forums these days.
But I figured I would join after I seen the drip machine.
I been in the market of getting a 3d printer for the past 2 months now.
I came to the site again cause I was about to purchase one of the printers from here (orion).
But then seen the new drip machine.. so of course, I might have to wait it out a little longer.
I am a traditional monster artist. I make latex masks and resin props as well as dabble in the 3d world.
Look forward to seeing more!

Welcome to the forum!
The Rostock Max V2 kit and the preassembled Orion are the two currently available models. The DropLit is a prototype that has only existed for a few weeks. It will be available for sale some day, but right now it's still in the R&D phase.
Sounds like you're working on some cool projects! Definitely post some of your work and other projects, it would be neat to see more!

Thanks for the welcome
I was going to pick up the Rostock max about a month ago.. but feel I am to much of a handicap when
it comes to small parts and not knowing what to do. I like that machine a lot though as well as the Orion.
I was going to pick up the makerbot mini, but happy I done some more research first and came across this site/printer.
I love the resin printers, so hoping its not a very long wait

I just need the forms to be there, to do throw away molds so I can fine tune
the casting.. I am lazy when it comes to small scale pieces haha. I mostly do large, you can check out my work if ya want at zhibit.org/pilcrowdesigns

Don't buy MakerBot

The opensource community and rep-rap machines advance much more quickly, have tons of community support, and are more fulfilling to be a part of.
As far as assembling a Rostock goes, look for the assembly manual on this forum and check it out.
