I want to be able to engrave a wooden box similar to this:

The amount of time / amount of passes isn't important to me.

Would the LCheapo laser be able to do something like this? All the example I see only are just etching the wood, not really cutting through it.

I have an L-Cheapo laser and used it with a Rostock Max printer.

It would probably be able to etch 1 or 2 millimeters into the wood.
