Anyone know if there's anything inherently incompatible with .92 firmware and the MaxV1?
I'm planning on doing some dev work on the firmware to add more than 2 "screens" to the lcd among some other minor changes and I'm just wondering if I should start with .92 or stick with .91.
If .92 is fine, anyone know where I can download pre-configured for the rostock? I looked at repetier's configuration tool, but good lord is that involved.
Repetier .92 on Max V1
Re: Repetier .92 on Max V1
I know that there is no problem. There is nothing special about the V1, it uses the same RAMBo controller (albeit an earlier version). I'd start with .92, it has some significant bug fixes and new features like better probing support if you ever decide to use it.
You can search here, I am sure there are posted versions, the tool is actually pretty easy if you just plow through it. Once you have it, you're good for the future so it's worth the effort. My config is so custom that it wouldn't be any easier if I gave it to you.

Ok thanks, I'll move on to .92 then. I'll search here for some pointers on the configuration
