Re: Easy "Manual" ZProbe Calibration
By the way, I do not know if it is only me, but while calibrating, I had noticed a consistent "buzz" that changes in tone as the nozzle gets close to the borosilicate plate. I had been able to notice the changes by the 0.01mm, once it is close enough (0.05 mm above the bed). I get the same...

Re: Easy "Manual" ZProbe Calibration
Well, I tried the same method in my "old" RM V1, and ... it worked as well! I was able to refine the steps, so, in 6 iterations I was done, with the bed flat ... as flat as V1 allows, of course :-) What I love is: 1- no need to touch the screws! 2- no need to go tower by tower, but all tow...

Re: Matter Control Software
Just did the update, thanks for the warning, took a backup of my 1.1.1 first. OOOH SHINY NEW TOYS! Triangle and concentric fills, 3D layer preview, bridge fan setting on the slicer and other goodness. Nice work people. Hasn't bombed on my OSX 10.9.4 yet, but I'll keep an eye on things. artexmg - mi...

Re: Matter Control Software
Hey Kevin, I had seen you've been actively helping people with Matter control, so, now it is my turn :-) I just upgraded to release 1.1.2, the one for SeemeCNC *it is great! (when it works :-) * (... already bought image converter, by the way ...), over MacOSX 10.9.4, and it keeps crashing and crash...

Easy "Manual" ZProbe Calibration
Hi Folks, I am not sure if a "manual" Zprobe calibration method had been discussed before, but it is new to me, and worked like a charm! I just finished building my Rostock Max V2 -Night Fury- (I need to update my building log: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=5814" ...

Re: Art's *new* RostockMax V2 (Aka Night Fury!)
Ok, it is time to keep going!
The next step was the printing bed, I tried to put the cables the most organized way I could.
I liked the V3, with the new LED to indicate the Hot End is working, sweet.

Today in the morning, I found this threads in my printer bed instead of what it was supposed to be my first parts of my Mini Kossel. Is it a sign from the heavens? :-) Funny stuff :-) Orange spaghetti, that is one of my favorites! Sorry, I couldn't resist! I'd read that printing food is the new big...

Re: Hotend doesnt reach temperature after installed peekfan
if you have a multimeter, measure the resistance of the heating resistors of the hotend... either at the crimps or the end of the wires.. you should get 3-4 ohms, if you get a reading of 8 or higher ohms, one of the heating resistors is out.. thats really the only reason that would prevent it from ...

Re: Art's *new* RostockMax V2 (Aka Night Fury!)
So far, no, I haven't put any heatsinks on any other part of the machine. I'm currently testing out a hypothesis with the extruder stepper motor itself but I'll let you know if it pans out. Good to know, let me know! On the other hand, my Rostock Max V1, has a lot of heat seated on the Rambo due to...

Re: Akemake Spirula Speakers
Yours look great! If I could ask, what did you use for stain and adhesive? Finally got the positioning and rotation to get both the 3" and the 4" to fit on the RMV2. I learned a lot! Biggest thing I found to be a problem is speed. While the body passes can be run quite fast the dithering ...

The colour scheme looks pretty cool for this one! Yes! I like Yellow/Black/Red ... maybe some leds? I'm still trying to decide on which LEDs to use for mine but I chose a similarly loud colour scheme ;) http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=3798&start=40" onclick="window....

That is looking great Art! Mine is scheduled to show up on Monday. Of course it just missed the weekend. I'm evaluating a stand to place it on.
