Re: Heated bed cannot reach temp
If you look at the Temperature Curve Screen on Repetier's main page, does the green zone go all the way to 100% on the "Output Bed" display when the bed is heating up and controlled by Repetier? Yes If not, the power output may be held down by the Firmware Setting - "Bed PID max valu...

Re: Heated bed cannot reach temp
I've been having a similar issue with my Rev3 bed on the RoMAX v2. It took close to 40 minutes to get up to 90C (with a towel on the bed). I had always preheated the bed via Repetier Host. I just used the LCD menu to set bed temp to 90C and it got there in less than 15 minutes (still with a towel). ...

Re: Bad z starting position
I have the same issue with Cura (but not slic3r or kiss). Half the time the print starts about 10cm above the bed.
I have a Max V2 and using Repetier Host to initiate the print from a Mac running Mountain Lion.

Re: Greetings from Southern California
Thank you Michael. Actually, I had downloaded and read through the guide prior to ordering. Right now I am trying to figure out if I want to go with a threaded thermistor, heating cartridge and 24v power supply right off the bat or worry about making any mods at all until after the standard version ...

Greetings from Southern California
Just ordered a 'Max v2 mostly because of the active support I saw here in the forum. Looking forward to completing the standard build but the ultimate goal is a multi-extruder setup that can do both ABS and flexible material. I am sure I will have lots of questions for all you experts out there so t...
