STeve's extruder broke
REcently i have been having extrusion issues with my printer, i thought it was my heater cartridge until i looked at my extruder. Part of the plastic part that holds the bearing and the bolt for the knurled part. I'll post pics soon. Any ideas on what to do short of ordering a new part?

Re: selling hot ends
I believe the thermal barrier should be stainless steel for better insulation. I'd make a prototype before you try to sell anything. If you have a printer you could always print something and sell it

Re: Using RAMPS
My Ramps is coming today and I haven't the slightest Idea what to do. I have my motors rewired to hook up with the ramps, DIY endstops, but software is my weakness. Do I just load Marlin on it then connect to pronterface? are all the calibration settings in The marlin firmware?
