I have been using Matterslice for about everything. After the update, I cannot get Mattercontrol to use the slic3r option at all though. It will just set the temps to zero and say that it is heating up...... nothing happens. Matterslice has given me the cleanest prints by far. I haven't even tried K...

I ran mine directly from the power supply. They do flicker when everything is heating up. I wonder if upgrading the power supply would solve this issue.

Ordered this fan off of Amazon today. My stock fan seems to be making some noise on startup. The noise quiets down after a min or so, but it seems it was going through a struggle. LOL

I like Mattercontrol, but I always seem to get crashes and errors. Crazy stuff like getting support even though I turn it completely off.

I downloaded Mattercontrol. It looks like they don't have the Flashforge setup listed in the printers. Anyone know where I can find the setting for this. I would like to try it out on the Flashforge before my Rostock Max V2 arrives and I get it put together.

I noticed you used the Mattercontrol / Slic3r and Mattercontrol / Cura combination but I am curious as to why you haven't tried the Mattercontrol/Matterslice configuration. Tried that option yet?

Yeah, $300 plus dollars is still kinda expensive, but it can dry out the nylon in about an hour instead of up to 12 hours in a regular oven and take a chance on warping your roll. Not sure how the heat stresses the filament or multiply uses for that matter.

Best way to dry?..... get this and their small heater that sticks on the bottom.

For example, we used a Pro-Set 10 micron pump (12cfm double stage) in order to get a chamber down to -29hg. The pump was about $1k. For a professional vacuum oven, the replacement pumps are about $5k.

Unfortunately, a vacuum oven isn't cheap. The container and heating element (pretty weak and straightforward) is the easy part. The pumps are really expensive. The cheaper AC checker pumps just don't pull enough vacuum to get the job done and they fail often.

I took the lid off quickly and took a picture. Just a few seconds and the humidity begins to climb up over 25%. Removing into apartment atmosphere and it says 62% (currently raining outside). It may not dry filament out, but it sure provides a cheap dry chamber for 8 watts of power.

I can see making it a vacuum chamber, but not pressure chamber. Lower pressure = lower boiling point. I took some pics. Now gotta figure out how to post them via mobile. Lol
