My brother-in-law (my bro) and I have completed our kit and I haven't been there in a few weeks. But are there any concerns about the the uncirculated fumes from this printer to kids and family?!?!? Also, I see prints that go overnight......any concern for fire, etc. This doesn't seem to be a UL lis...

Re: Rostock max making objects....
We have lowered the speed, lowered the heatbed, and have been playing with filament size. It just seems like the filament is too hot.....oar the filament cools off too quickly between extrusion. Any time there is retraction, we have to expect a low extrusion......followed by "beaded" extru...

Re: New build of a Rostock Max kit
Nylon screws are probably for safety...anytime you match power...electrical, you want no conductors. Barnett and I have been perplexed with the same issues as you....your not alone....but maybe Barnett posts can help. Search and see if we are wrong...or can help. BTW.....love the smell as well....al...

Re: Rostock Max Limit switch wiring issue
Barnett (my brother in-law) and I had to add extensions to many of the wires. Not a big deal....just twist together, bend and tape off with electrical tape. This was for wood kit #6.....we had to improvise a few things.....part of the magic of DIY projects in the early stage. Have fun....don't fret ...
