Well, I hit print and instead of printing, the hotend temp began to drop. As soon as I cancel the print and hit preheat the temp goes back up. Gota love it!

Do a search for PEI in the forum. Once you add this to the bed surface and adjust your Z height, you should be good to go without tape or glue or whatever.

That's encouraging. I would like to upgrade but I don't know enough about the Smoothieboard to do it without any help. So if there are folks that have done so successfully, then at least there are resources with experience.
