Have you considered the grinding that would be necessary? Or did you plan on buying pellets of virgin material?

I agree, compared to PLA, or ABS, wax is more difficult to learn to print with. But it can be done! Wax filament works best in direct drive, but can work in Bowden extruders. However, with Bowden the print speeds are limited to roughly 30 mm/s, or less even after the "ninjaflex mod". Becau...

If acetone was not dissolving the clog, maybe the obstruction is a foreign contaminant. Was the spool that is jamming used with your previous hot end w/o issue?
