Re: Hot End Thermistor - Which Mounting Hole?
The holes that intersect the bores for the resistors is a relief hole. It allows air and silicone to escape from the bores as you insert the resistors. At the build event, it was suggested to inject the silicone into these side holes to insure there were no voids. These new openings are a relatively...

Re: Rostock MAX Assembly Manual
The idler bearings now have new injection molder spacers.
They snap into the bearings and use the same screws as the original metal spacers

Re: Photos from the MidWest RepRap Festival
I got back home about 7pm on Sunday and by the time I unloaded there was no work time. Monday was catch up around the house so little was done. I estimate I am 90% done. Now to find some quiet time in the next few days. (My daughter is home on spring break so family get priority)
Good to meet you.

I attended the MRRF and was part of the Rostock Max build. I really didn't have a great deal of free time to take photos but I have included a link to my Facebook album of the event. The album is a public album and you don't need to be a Facebook user to view. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set...

Re: Acrylic Rostock with Enclosure
Thanks for the reply. I had an enclosure around another printer because my wife didn't like the smell of ABS. I used an 1.5" shop vac style hose with a 40mm computer fan about half way along the length of the hose (in an piece of PVC pipe as thefan holder). The fan doesn't have a high CFM ratin...

Re: Acrylic Rostock with Enclosure
What are the approximate dimensions of your enclosure? Now that you are using it, would you build it larger or smaller ?
