I seem to have this problem still with popping filament and it seems more prevalent after retractions. Dialing down the temperature helps but I think the retraction is the root cause of my popping filament issue here. It pops more often after retractions. I'm guessing that the retraction is causing...

for the gray abs filament i was using, it was 215 degrees ( warning though, your temps will vary depending on how you have yours calibrated) just keep lowering your temps till that popping goes away. just dont lower it too much. Brian is solid. I have ordered a ton from TrickLaser and can't say enough good things. The quality of his stuff is incredible.
