Re: Bed leveling and calibration. Very frustrated.
Use three alternating bed clips, having 6 can cause more warping of the bed. Also make sure it is not too tight so watch when you secure it, make sure it doesn't push the bed down too much. I would do g29 three times, then the Delta Calibration. After you save the EEPROM settings I do another g29. ...

Re: Hot end temp issue???
Thanks for the good advice, iKeyborg. Very good point about the bed being cooled by the fan. The plugin works, but it seems that it is only changing one parameter at a time or unreliably, so I always check by loading from trhe EEPROM after writing to it. Your PID parameter values do not really chan...

Re: Hot end temp issue???
I have a similar problem here with my stock MAX v3: The HE280 temp is always a few degrees too low, so print jobs never start unless I preheat manually a few degs above print temp. Also, when working at 255°C (with PCmax, great material), the temperature drops like 15°C at higher extrusion rates (o...

Re: HE280 temperature steady state error
Since one of the latest updates I see hotend temperature is not stable and below set point by 5 - 10C. I found that in 0.92.2 firmware PID numbers are not optimal. For printer RM V3 Kp = 14.5, Ki = 0.73, Kd = 53.4 PID autotune new numbers: Kp = 55.7, Ki = 11.8, Kd = 65.5 After writing it to EPROM ho...

Re: Super stringy prints, help!
That seemed to help. Thank-you GeneB! Can I kindly ask you why my V3 might be resetting mid print? It does it randomly and has been happening now for the last few prints. I have checked the wiring and everything looks fine. Are you printing from S3D directly or using SD card or different software? ...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
I finally got acceptable autocalibration result with latest firmware. I siccessfully printed test circle (0.3mm layer). Difference between lowest an highest points = 0.08mm (6 points Z meadurement at the bed edge and the center point. Is it within spec? Before this success I checked all towers and f...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
That type of tilt can be partially compensated by adjusting the tower position corrections. That requires 6 or more point calibration, such as is implemented in Duet/RepRapFirmware. You could calibrate manually using my calculator at http://www.escher3d.com/pages/wizards/wizarddelta.php which imple...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
After closer look I found that my printer cannot be calibrated on big area even manually. I suspect the problem is in printer geometry. Autocalibration returns the same bed level (Z numbers) near each three towers, even between X and Y and between X and Z. Between Y and Z it is different (lower) by ...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
I experimented with "dev" firmware and using V3probing.gcode. Result is absolutely the same as with Master Firmware. After calibration I am getting Zmax = 402.41 - 402. 45mm When I bring nozzle to the bed, nozzle touches the bed at: 1. X = -110, Y = -50 Z = 0.03mm (close to X tower) 2. X =...

Does it require a hardware modification?
I will try "dev" firmware tonight.

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
The idea was not that communication was lost but that noise was introduced and interpreted as data. My data includes results without the beads - its the last 3 rows. You simply need to look at your eeprom values. Matter Control, Repetier host and a plugin installed in OctoPrint all let you do that....

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
Hi all, +1 to the same problem. If accelerometer uses I2C digital interface and there is no signs of lost communication between controller and accelerometer, how ferrite beads can help? Consistency in experiment with and without beads (or just consistency) points on something software related. I gue...

Extruder motor on E1 instead E0
Hello all,
Which parameter in Rambo firmware configuration will change active extruder motor port from E0 to E1? without other changes?
(If it is possible).
