In your config you are not set up for Mach3, it is set for marlin/sprinter.
Other than that the only other thing I see is an odd layer height .254 ???
I usually set my layer height to .3 for starters.
And have you calibrated the steps per in mach?
Sounds like the Z is not calibrated.

Very nice Mike I bet its quiet as a mouse!
One question though, Why is you extruder facing to the back of the enclosure?
makes it kinda difficult to access the retention screws.

Re: 4 Axis Board - TB6560
I thought about the higher voltage but maybe just slowing the velocity down on the Z will allow him to use a 12v power supply (he already has one). I guess there is only one way to find out ;) I am running out of filament gonna order some more tonight. Haven't tried any PLA yet just been running ABS...

Re: 4 Axis Board - TB6560
this isn't for the H1, its for a mendelmax. I am VERY happy with the performance of the H1 so far. I did not run it in stock trim at all, so I cant really compare after all the mods I did. But I have about 3 spools through mine so far and it has been rock solid. Love the lights out machine. Start it...

Re: 4 Axis Board - TB6560
Would series be a better option for this instance?
ie: 2 motors for the Z axis.
There is not a need for a fast Z on these little printers.

Re: 4 Axis Board - TB6560
Might be a silly question but can one run 2 motors in parallel of of one axis on this board?, I am printing parts for a prusa for a friend and he wants to use this board to save some cash on the build.

Re: I now own a mini CNC router and a 3D printer
Hey thats not a printer! Looking good Dave, nice tooling plate. I need to make one for my mill. I have some 1" mic-6 set aside and a dxf for the waterjet (cheating?) I also have a very nice tapping arm to use as well. The hardest part of the deal is shelling out the cash for all those heli-coil...

Re: Slicr 0.8.2 released 5/29
Holy crap! 255C??? How do you keep from chocking and dying from the fumes? :-) I have found that the lower the temperature the better print quality will be, I tried playing with 190C - 200C, but was too low, 205C is what I find absolute minimum for ABS on my rig. What I don't know is what does the ...

I am probably printing too hot, I am running 3mm abs now, @ 250-255C
LOTS of sag, will try dropping the temps a bit to see how much it helps

Thanks Mike, I looked till I was crosseyed!
I still cant get bridging good enough to pull off that case yet but hopefully I am narrowing in, what is your bridging speed set to? bridging ext. ratio?

Re: Slicr 0.8.2 released 5/29
What happened to the scale feature in 7.1? I could import a drawing and scale it for 25.4 for standard units now I cant find it. I see the scale button in the plater tab but it will only scale what is already there not what is imported. Overall though I am VERY pleased with the new features they are...

Re: iPhone 4 case
i use a little abs glue on larger (base) prints, mixed pretty thin. Then I wipe it off with acetone when done. My heated bed gets a little hotter in a 4" square in the center. But I warn you that it is MUCH harder to remove prints after, if you are using Kapton over glass I would let the item c...

Re: Wedding Bands
Same as what John said, but I just spit on it and it slid right in, no heating of the larger teflon just cut it the same length. I have quite a few prints now for friends and family, as well as half a mendelmax printed out. I do have a bit of ooze with the 1.75, with a retract set to 3 it is minimiz...

Thats pretty cool Michael! Good to see you are still hard at it, how is the job search going? Been very busy as of late, but have been sneaking out to the shop late and printing away. I have been using the new seemecnc 3mm hotend and have almost a full spool of 1.75 abs through it with not one plug ...

Re: JT's H-1 build log and mods
Wow,my first print and no comment, is it that ugly?
All joking aside, I just wanted to give a plug to seemecnc as the "extra" resistor in my velleman kit was put in there by them, I know its an inexpensive part but saves a trip to cell phone shack or shipping charges
TOP NOTCH!

Little update, got the new hot end together, wrapped the head in kapton for easier cleaning , still have to put a small piece around the nozzle. Pushed some 1.75 abs through it last eve, now I can button up all the electronics and get to extruder cal. and bed leveling then i can start getting my set...
