Re: Discontinued???

In fact a sad notice :(
I recently got one and without any modifications I have been really happy with it.

Hey, can you share a photo of the springs? Sounds like a nice mod to consider.

Re: Bad Prints

Looks like underextrusion to me try to lower all your speeds to 40mm/s and increment you temperature for 5°C. Once you get the correct amount extrusion speed thing a little up. Also if you are using H280 check the bowden tube inside the extruder! If the hose isn't well put until the bottom of the ex...

LCD Smart Controller not working with RAMPS :'(

Hi! I have been building my very own 3D printer since last year and I'm on the last phase of construction: The Firmware Installation. I Installed Repetier v092 with the use of their Web App (https://www.repetier.com/firmware/v092/) to configure the whole thing. I became very familiar with the constr...

Re: Underextrusion issues with Early Adopter Eris

Chances are there's a blockage somewhere. If the machine worked great at one point and now does not, that's the most likely reason. The machine has never worked as well as other Eris' printers. It cannot complete the first layer before suffering from underextrussion issues. We check often the bowde...

Re: Underextrusion issues with Early Adopter Eris

If the motor is skipping, that means that the resistance it's experiencing is a lot higher than it should be. I suspect that your bowden tube has backed out of the hot end a bit and there's filament pooling in the resulting gap. I suspected the same at the beginning and started making frequent chec...

Re: Underextrusion issues with Early Adopter Eris

I have also had the same issue, but have solved it by cleaning between the teeth of the hobbed gear, to make sure that there aren't any tiny pieces of chewed up filament in there. And, I also check to make sure that the little M3 grub screw is fully tightened. I had done the same with no significan...

Underextrusion issues with Early Adopter Eris

Hello everyone, SeeMeCNC fanboy here I have almost been working now for 8 months at a 3D printing shop in Mexico and everything has been fine with our Rostocks. I have been helping as maintenance and assembly department here, and earned the trust of my boss. He just lent me his Eris printer. He boug...

Re: i2C malfunction

What makes you think it's an i2c error? If I read correctly, the only failure symptom you've mentioned is that it's moving really slow. That sounds more like a configuration issue to me. Make sure your eeprom values seem correct and any firmware mods have been applied. Holy Guacamole, it was the co...

Hey there

Hello everyone, name's Axl, and I'm new to the forum. I started working at a bussines that gives 3D printing services and almost 70% of all prints are made with our Rostock's. At first I was more amazed with the Zortrax M200 rather with SeeMeCNC's machines, but after assembling my first V3 I had fal...

i2C malfunction

Good day everybody. Name's Axl and I'm new in the forums. I have read before about i2C problems, but I still can't resolve this. I hope somebody can help and, if it does, I will be forever grateful :D :D So, at my work we have 4 Rostock's. We recently updated each one from V2 to V3 (HE280, Ball-cup ...
