Re: My Version of an Artemis Whip Strain Relief
Update.. After talking to Part Daddy about my Artemis with FSR's... He was kind enough to send me for a fair price, a new base section to swap out my FSR setup for a solid base so I can use the HotEnd Probe on the SE300. This was an easy exchange and required me to make a change to my Whip Strain Re...

My Version of an Artemis Whip Strain Relief
Hello All Artemis SE300 Ver. 1.1 with FSR's Owners Not really wanting to screw around with the whip to do the fix that is suggested at this link: http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=115&t=12546 I figured I would try a few different things on my own to keep the Red & Black wires from pu...

Re: HEATER 1 Fault
I have a ton of hours on my Artemis.. Out of no where I started to get Heater Faults.. Traced it to the Red & Black wires that go into the White connector on the SE300. Pushed them back in and have had no Hearter Faults since... I try to check the connector every week and I do find that the wire...

Re: Lubricating linear rails?
JayDee I was beginning to think I was the only one.. ;-) with that terrible squeak!! I thought I could get away with some lub only... Squeak came back so I opted for the nylon spacers.. Had to work on them to fit the bearing so I could tighten without locking the Idler up. Haven't had the squeak sin...

Re: CURA plugin to print wirelessly to duet board/atermis
Just a heads up on using Cura 2.3.1 with the Artemis.... I had a lot of problems trying to use that version. I had to go back to 3.1.

Re: CURA plugin to print wirelessly to duet board/atermis
I believe that you need to change the folder name from Cura-DuetRRFPlugin-0.0.5 to Cura-DuetRRFPlugin-master. That should do it for you....

Re: Lubricating linear rails?
I never had a scraping sound... just a very irritating squeak at low head speeds. Like when the head is going back and forth for a base layer. Gone now..

Re: Lubricating linear rails?
20180307_093153.jpg Two of the three idler pulleys looked like this... Went to local hardware store and picked up some small nylon washers. Had to take a file to round one of the edges down so it would fit the idler pulley bearing better. Then assembled it back up by tightening till it just becomes...

Re: Lubricating linear rails?
This was a tuff one to trace.... and it was driving me nuts. I love the printer!! Every now and then when the HotEnd would move slowly. I would hear what sounded like a linear rail squeaking. I put some light machine oil on all the rails and still had the squeak when the head moved slowly. I tired t...

Re: Where are all of the detailed Artemis reviews?
Have had the Artemis for around a month. The best 3D printer I have ever used! Fast, Quiet, and "Fun" to use!!. Beautiful prints every time! Have been printing everyday for at least 6 hours per day and more. The more I use it... the more I like it! Getting use to using Cura 3.1.0. With the...

SeeMeCNC Slicing Profiles
I see that there are some new slicing profiles located in the SeeMeCNC Repositories. I'm trying to load the RostockMax V3 Cura profiles. Not having much luck loading into MatterControl. Are these Cura Profiles for a stand alone version of Cura? Would like to know before I go downloading & instal...

Re: A few build notes for the RostockMAX v3 Aficionado
Here's a Whip Clip you can print to keep the HE280 plug from coming out. We'll make an injection mold this next week to include them. The printed one works great. http://repables.com/r/808 I can't seem to print a viable copy of the holder. I have tried PLA and ABS, the 4 parts that are like legs br...

Re: A few build notes for the RostockMAX v3 Aficionado
I think I have finally figured out what happened when my machine stopped running. After a whole lot of testing... It looks like I had torqued the connector on the hot end enough to cause the machine to sense a problem. I went through all the wiring and connectors and found no issues. I had moved the...

Re: A few build notes for the RostockMAX v3 Aficionado
Should have said this in the post. That's the first check I made.. Every connection in the bottom and top is secure. Harness was plugged in and not loose. Only thing I didn't check was the Hot End stuff. Tomorrow I will start a print and kick the table again to see what happens. There was no power l...

Re: A few build notes for the RostockMAX v3 Aficionado
Here's one for you all.... I have been running the Dev Build since Friday. Printing almost nonstop. Things have been going great until I kicked the table that the printer is on and the printer stopped running and the bed & hot end shut down! So my question is this. Does the board that does the c...

Here's how I handled the clip problem.... Had to add 3 layers of Blue Painter Tape at each clip to get the glass to stay put!

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
When that big print finishes tomorrow at around 7PM. I will separate the End Stop Wiring form the Stepper Motor Wiring. I have them tucked together in a bundle to clean the top up. I will also run 3 cal's like mhackney did with the Ferrite on, Ferrite off, and then I will do one after I separate out...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
Here is a large print to test if things are any better. I still have the problem at the x tower being a tad thin. Based on Cloneit3d, looks like things are moving at the company level. Will not do any more testing as it sounds like there may be a fix close at hand...
