Rostock Max V4 Bed Mapping Issue?
My 3D printer was printing fine. I thought it would be a good idea to update the firmware to V3.4.4 I have not been able to get a clean print since. I have run the Delta Calibration several times. I have included a picture to show where it seems to "not print" on the bottom right portion. ...

Re: Rostock Max V4 Homes in Wrong Direction
I did have all 3 of them set at S0. When I changed them all to S1 it allowed me to finally home the machine and run a delta calibration. Now my issue is the extruder is also running in reverse.

Rostock Max V4 Homes in Wrong Direction
I hadn't used this printer for some time so I anticipated some potential issues. Fortunately all went well and I have been using it again for the past week without any issues. I had to transport the printer to a new location. I thought it might be a good idea to update the firmware (WHAT WAS I THINK...

Re: I seem to have created a mini-jackhammer. Any help appreciated.
Problem solved! It turns out my student put ALL 3 of the endstop switches on backwards so when the screws went through the holes in the top they were not engaging anything. Thank you again everyone for your time and ideas.

Re: I seem to have created a mini-jackhammer. Any help appreciated.
Thank you TEK for the suggestion. I have rechecked my wiring going into the RAMBO and it matches the diagram you provided. Here are my results from M261 in the terminal: ->M261 <-ok 0 <- <-INT PIN: 1 <- <-read reg 49 value: 21 <- <-read reg 53 value: 0 <- <-read reg 57 value: 0 <- <-read reg 45 valu...

Re: I seem to have created a mini-jackhammer. Any help appreciated.
Thank you geneb for the suggestion. I actually took the HEW wireing apart and reversed it and tried it again and it didn't even run. I put it back together as I had it (which does match the diagram) and I had the same result as the video above. I'll keep searching the forums and trying everything th...

Re: I seem to have created a mini-jackhammer. Any help appreciated.
Here is a copy of the generated log file. I only let it jackhammer for about 7-10 seconds. Maybe this will give someone out there a clue as to what is happening.

Re: I seem to have created a mini-jackhammer. Any help appreciated.
Thank you mds3102 for the suggestion. Unfortunately for me when I look at the 8 wires from the front of my printer the green wire is on the far left side.

Re: Problem calibrating printer
Thank you thechewiestbacca for the suggestion. I tried it but no luck. It did the same as before but it did it floating in mid air about halfway down.

Re: I seem to have created a mini-jackhammer. Any help appreciated.
I am new to this and this (first time with a 3D printer and this is the first build of a V3) is EXACTLY what mine is doing too.

Re: Problem calibrating printer
IMG_3148.JPG I a man having a similar issue. During the initial calibration hot end floats down as it should and then veers towards a tower and proceeds to run like a jackhammer. I took this pic of the messages it gives. I am completely new to this so forgive me if I have not described the situatio...
