Re: My Hot End is not heating up!
When I install the power supply I'll take video. Maybe ghosts came in the room. Maybe I'm just a big liar. I know what I saw.

Re: My Hot End is not heating up!
Just to clarify, the actual physical temperate didn't go down. I had it wired backwards on my first build and the host temp indicated 25C to 21 C when I activated the bed, turned it off found my fault and fixed it. Bed was at room temperature.

Re: Voltage Regulator
I have a better power supply, just haven't had time to install. Need to replace the table also. The Acrylic tends to crack from the heat cycles I believe. The wiring in house wasn't done very well or clean. It was a nightmare puttin the ceiling fan in. Lol. Thanks for the help.

Re: My Hot End is not heating up!
I'd also check to make sure your in the right heat control on the Rambo. Also look at the temp in your host. If you turn the bed on and the temp goes down then you have it wired backwards.

Voltage Regulator
I've moved into a new place and have noticed when certain light switches on the main level are turned on my prints move generally between the X and Z axis. I am running a good surge protector(used 2 different ones), but was wondering if anyone has a Regulator to keep the voltage to their printer con...

Re: My Rostock. Been three months. Finally some bad pics.
You'd think. I work with these all day at my job. Might have gotten a few deformed connectors. It's fixed and I ordered a bunch more just in case.

Re: My Rostock. Been three months. Finally some bad pics.
Actually I have done other small things. LED's on the carriage with a variable resistor to control the brightness. .35 mm nozzle which made a big difference. Just got the EZ EXTRUDER. Other then rewiring a few times because the pin connectors wiggle out that's it. Note on the connectors-a little sup...

My Rostock. Been three months. Finally some bad pics.
Acrylic Max. Haven't done much, but print. Great printer, but found out the table cracks after awhile. Ordered two new ones. Customer support was awesome. I installed a badge/key retractor to keep the wires and tube from flopping over. Also used three Velcro wire bundle keepers to keep the arm vibra...

Re: KISSlicer print button?
I changed the printer speed settings in KIsslicer too-
X,Y and Z 100
Z 2
First layer Max speed 2
Limit Increase /Layer 50
XY Accel [mm/s^2] 500
Drops nice and consistent. Still need to mess with the de-string, but prints are coming out much better.

Re: KISSlicer print button?
Almost seems like the steps are off or the motors are turning to fast and the belt is skipping. Carriage stumbles down. Steps are correct. Only happens every third try or so. I can shut it down and rerun the print without reloading the Slice and it will be fine.

Re: KISSlicer print button?
WOW, Kisslicer is amazing so far. Had a few crazy z drops and a cylinder that automatically places on the bed no matter what I try to print, but I'll take what I can get for now. It's totally different then Sic3er.

Re: KISSlicer print button?
Arlighty then, so I Sliced an odject in Kisslicer and saved it. Then opened it in Repetier which had the Gcode. It seems like it has a lot more Gcode then using Slic3r. I kind of figured. I'm guessing it's because I'm using another program that isn't joined with Repetier. It took a few weeks to get ...

KISSlicer print button?
I downloaded the latest version of KISS. I'm not sure if there is a window missing or what. I can upload a file, slice it, but there isn't a print button. If there is a forum on this issue and could be pointed to it that would be great. I downloaded all the ini files and the setup seems good. The Qu...

Re: How long is Slic3r supposed to take?
I use Kisslicer and have one or two times that it has taken 10 minutes to slice. On those times my printer freaked out and had to shut down and reboot my laptop. Other then that it takes 2 minutes tops. Even are large slices. Might need to reoad your software.

Re: No More Acrylic Rostocks...
Just finished mine a few weeks ago. Looks great. Sad to here they are not making them anymore. I haven't seen anyone post pictures of a completed one. I'll be installing some LED`s this weekend. I'll post some pics. Awesome machine. This was my first printer, Glad I went with this one. Nice quality ...

Re: Rostock MAX Assembly Manual
What did you use to make the counter sink holes? I don't have access to to a drill press and don't have anywhere to put one. I do have a Dremel. Might take a while, but it is what it is I guess.
