I have tried various settings to get bridging to work on my max and for the most part it has, but my settings have one very annoying result. The perimeters on a bridge are way too fast. I see what you all are saying about large prints and contractions, but most of my prints are small. In this case the print was less than 4" long.

I did measure the filament however, when I did the thin wall test the filament was coming out a bit too much.

I just wanted to mention the first "better" print was done before I dialed in my extrusion multiplier by doing the thin wall cube test.
After that test I had changed my multiplier to .95.
Also I am still using the .5mm stock nozzle.

Perhaps posting your gcode file might help, also take a look at your temperature readings and make sure it didn't suddenly just turn off mid print. Sorry about that…..
