Linux, MacOS, Windows?
I don't think on any of them there is one folder that keeps all of your settings...
If it is about your slicer settings, it would be handy to mention what slicer you use.

Re: 24V: The other way
I would not understand why anyone would go an untested route while a fully tested and much used alternative is available. There is really no need for a second PSU when you already want to go the stepdown route. Just stepdown your 24V PSU to 12V and run the board from there. Then you have 24V availab...

And how big can you go in this machine?

Re: Rostock Max V1 latest and greates FW for autoleveling
One of the stinky changes in version 0.92 is that at some point they defined the motorcurrent values in percentage instead of a 1-255 value Sounds nasty! From what I've seen so far 92.2 uses 0-255. Hmm, did you get the firmware from the SeeMe pages, or from the repetier wizard? Perhaps it is a SeeM...

Re: Rostock Max V1 latest and greates FW for autoleveling
I've changed the Z probe to Normally Closed instead of Normally Open and made the changes in the FW. Still not seeing z_min: show up when sending M119 -> x_max:L y_max:L z_max:L Changing open/closed does not affect anything, it just changes the way something is detected. You only have 3 endstops, t...

Re: Rostock Max V1 latest and greates FW for autoleveling
I think you are right on the Repetier firmware, it does do some leveling, but certainly no calibration. And in my view levelling is not meaningfull if your calibration is off... [quote="OiD"]Either my google-fu is weak or I'm doing something wrong. I can't even find a Duet on eBay. Where c...

Re: Rostock Max V1 latest and greates FW for autoleveling
There is no autolevel nor calibration in Repetier firmware as far as I know... It can probe using FSR's but I found that pretty useless without a auto calibration routine (although it takes the hassle out of using a dial indicator). I tried calibrating a V2 using a dial indicator as wel (digital is ...

Re: G29 + FSR woes
You should first calibrate the endstops by getting them as close to 0 as possible. Create a script to probe close at each tower. Then adjust your endstop screws a bit and home an rerun the script. If you want to reduce the offset. Of a tower, turn the screw clockwise. Or the other 2 towers counter c...

Re: RepRapFirmware E3D v6 tuning
If your hotend has a (significant) other temp than the thermistor shows (measured against a thermocouple I presume) you should first tune your thermister, and only after that retune your PID. I have no links at hand (being at a camping site) but there is extensive documentation to be found at google...

Does that also happen with the FSR sensors disconnected? (finger on the off-switch!)
Perhaps a sensor can be defective?

I have missed that post too, and indeed it seems less busy here at the moment. However that's probably a summer-season-silence ;-) and also Michael seems very busy with non-SeeMe projects ;-) Looking at the picture I can't help thinking it would not have happened without the sock. Sounds very differ...

Re: Print Bed Material
I have some 1mm PC laying around for my enclosure, but I will need to finnisch that first. I I have a big enough leftover I wil try it. It would be nice if it works great, because PEI is a lot harder to get, and way more expensive. On the other hand I cannot imagine that is has not been tried by man...

The newer socks have a much larger hole where the nozzle fits through almost completely. Many people cut out the nozzle from the older socks, just to prevent what you describe. PETG seems to stick pretty hard to the silicone.

I don't think it is a computational error, I think you just fine-tuned your diagonal rod length.
Judging from your low deviation I guess I must do the same...

You can not use the existing LCD display. If you wish an LCD screen, you will have to buy a PanelDue. But on the other hand, I never felt the need for one. I am using the webinterface on a computer next to the printer, and that really is great!

Re: First layer issue with nozzle being too close
The height of your nozzle has changes by changing your hotend. Obviously using a different hotend changes how the accelerometer triggers. Change Z_PROBE_HEIGHT in your firmware. Check this for details: https://www.repetier.com/documentation/ ... z-probing/

Re: Heater Bed Power Connector melted.
This is very typical for neglected screwterminals. Like checking the bolts of your car rims a few kilometers after changing them, it is good to check on the screws of your screwterminals. It is not like they get loose by vibration, but by deforming of the wirestrands. This forum is full of pictures ...

Re: End stop offsets.
You could just cirkel the wires on the board from tower X to Y, Y to Z and Z to X (don't forget tp change the motors accordingly. Your large offset would cirkel along if the failure is in the switch.

Oh, excuse me, I missed that your question was about the Eris, and I did not know that the Eris has no endstopscrew either ;-) 3mm of a correction must be measurable somewhere. Are your endstop switches any loose perhaps? But I suppose with tips likes this I make you feel like a noob, and I know you...

Re: End stop offsets.
Yes, by adjusting the endstop screws the old-school way
I think when your auto-cal reports that much difference (if 1.8degree steppers we are talking about almost 3mm adjustment on the Z) you can see the head jerking a bit after homing. You won't see that if your endstops are almost equal.
