Does anyone print directly on the AL heat spreader?

Thanks for the replies. I'm still chasing issues after the upgrade, I I took apart the hotend and put it all back together and low and behold it's no longer a problem. Go Figure.

Will changing the outer probe points mess up the calibration? What I'm running into is that outer Y probe point is too close to the tower and the white tension piece is getting forced up against the hot end fan enough to stop the fan. My son has been running that printed in PETG for a while.

While I can't answer your question directly- My son just started using fusion when he got the printer. There are some great videos out for it.

I do remember seeing one at some point where the person did exactly what you're trying to do.

My son has been running PETG for a couple months now on a stock E3D. Hasn't had anything issues. Can't see this being worth the money.

I know a few of us - myself included - have contacted them and explicitly asked them to clarify the language related to this in their license agreement. They actually said "we are not lawyers so we can't comment". It's their agreement for pete's sake. Surely they know what their intent is...

It basically amounts to Microsoft telling you anything you create using Word, they own and forbid you from sharing.
