Re: Unsolved Mystery. Weird Z0 behavior around build perimet

Hm. I'll have to look into an FSR setup. I did notice that after reflashing my FW and Eeprom, and then reinputting he values from before I reflashed, the towers are now out of level, which is interesting. I changed horizontal radius and endstop offsets back to their values and all that. Idk. I'm goi...

Re: Unsolved Mystery. Weird Z0 behavior around build perimet

Thank you for that link, it does look promising, but I don't have a Z-probe at the moment. I'll have to look into what I need to get one.

Re: Unsolved Mystery. Weird Z0 behavior around build perimet

So I seem to be having this issue. I thought at some point I had fixed it through a normal recalibration, but it would seem I was mistaken since my towers and center are all calibrated, I'm just having the issue between towers. Anyway, I checked my towers with a speed square and they all seemed to b...

Re: Air-struder installed, now I'm getting bulging.

I don't think the Air-struder is at fault. I've attempted to print a bed level print and failed miserably. It seems that I have that issue where outside of the triangle between the towers, the nozzle lifts because it's only level inside the triangle. Before realizing that I was able to get my Z heig...

Re: Air-struder installed, now I'm getting bulging.

I've been printing PLA with a bed heat of 65-70 since I got the printer in February without a single issue. This problem didn't arise until I installed the air-struder. I have made sure that my wiring is separate for the end stops and near the controller I wrapped them in anti-static packaging to he...

Re: Air-struder installed, now I'm getting bulging.

I did recalibrate. I even had to recalibrate horizontal radius which I thought was weird, but I was also running a little cooler since I was printing PLA instead of ABS. Anyway, it's calibrated as well as it was before as far as I can tell. I got my Fly-N-Strude kit today so maybe I'll try that in p...

Air-struder installed, now I'm getting bulging.

So a week or so ago I ordered a Fly-N-Strude. Then I realize that there is a printable model that does effectively the same thing (Air-struder). So I printed it out and installed it. Now I get bulging in some of the first layers (but after the actual first layer) and then it seems fine. I shortened ...

Re: Dual Prometheus hot ends?

Thanks for all of the replies. I'm almost tempted to try it anyway and try to invent a solution so that it's more reliable -- but that probably won't happen, if I'm honest. Lol

What issues have prevented you from getting a workable print out of the Diamond?

Dual Prometheus hot ends?

So I bought a Prometheus V2 (.4mm) about a month ago and so far I'm absolutely loving it. This is my first hot end after the stock one that came with the Rostock Max V2. I've been really thinking about running dual (or more if it's feasible) extruders, but I'm fairly new to modding. Will any J-head ...
