z axis homeing

Post by Northspire »

When I run the g code m119 it reports the x,y,and z probe as not stopped but the z axis reports max stop even if the endstop switch is unplugged. Any Ideas? Also the zstop led is not lighting up like the y and xstop led.

If you are using NC microswitches or other endstop switches that produce an active high output, then it's normal for them to read stopped when they are disconnected. All other common firmwares work this way too.

If the Z endstop led is not lit when your NC microswitch is not triggered, then you have a wiring fault.
