Hi all
Hi from the land down under
I run 7x Rostock max V3 machines mostly run abs and tpu filiments am curious about the 3.2 conversions apart from the noise reduction do you guys think the conversion makes much difference to A V3
I also prefer to use simplify 3d for the slicer
What I would like to achieve is better accuracy possibly quicker zeroing (and more consistent)
I find tha auto calibration on the v3 max limited and quite often run the 12 point calibration software and enter the scale factors manually
Also if you go to the V3.2 conversion are you limited to web braised control or it it possible to have local control on the machine
Thanks in advance for your imput

The performance improvement due to moving to a 32 bit controller is significant. The precise auto calibration is nearly witchcraft.
You can use a color LCD touch screen with the v3.2 upgrade, but you really don't need to if you can connect to it via browser. I wouldn't ever recommend printing via USB with the Duet - or any printer for that matter.

Re: Rostock max 3.0 to 3.3 conversion
Can you run the original SeeMeCNC LCD board with the selector knob/reset button off a DUET WiFi board?
Does it require any funky connections?

Correctly re-phrased question:
Can you run the original SeeMeCNC 20X4 LCD 3D Printer Controller off a DUET WiFi board and run the SE300 locally through that interface/SD?
Looking to cut out the additional $100/pop for touch screens if not necessary.
It's a fair dinkum question m8s

No. The RAMBo LCD panel won't work with the Duet. That being said, you don't need it as you control the Duet via your web browser.

Thanks g.!
I'm basically gutting two V3+RasPi kits in the end . . . almost sad
Guess I'll learn a lot and (potential future) build some funk-a-trons with the parts!
Said the guy with the growing parts bin collections...
