Slic3r 0.7.2b Profiles to get you started

Post by seemeadmin »

Here's some Slic3r profiles to get you going. Keep in mind that I'm no expert...

I usually keep my Slic3r profiles with my STL models, naming them similar to what I'm printing. And even making a nozzle note or filament note.

Good general straight wall:
bushing block_1750fila_050noz.ini
bushing or 90 bar clamp - fairly solid

Fair Solid:
spool_hub_175mm_Filament_020_nozzle.ini
spool hub settings

Creature Feature (like yoda):
yoda_1750mm_Filament_020inch_050mm_nozzle.ini
creature settings for Slic3r

I was reading your .ini files and it says bed is 200x200. Are you using the full area available for the bed? and is the size metric?
Thanks,

Jim, john here. Steve must have left that as the default. I usually have it set to 185*185, and yes that is in mm
