STL Import Plugin

Post by Jimustanguitar »

There are already instructions for exporting stl files in Sketchup (FYI) http://airwolf3d.com/wiki/how-to-conver ... -printing/

Here is a plugin for importing an stl file to work on in Sketchup http://airwolf3d.com/wiki/how-to-import ... -sketchup/

There are also "official" Sketchup plugins for this. Check out the warehouse online.

I met Trimble's Tommy Acierno at Makerfaire. He recommended using this one - the one you mention that's in the warehouse.

BTW, they'll give folks a 30 day extension to anyone trying the product out. All you have to do is whine about the price like I did.

Do it in your "I wanna go to Disneyland" voice.
