I want to start printing again. My printer has been in 50-120F garage for 10 years. Is it safe to start? What do I need to do to get it ready to print?

Looking for advice on: restoring printer, current software, and should I invest in hotter head, or have materials advanced to need less heat? As I recall I printed PLA fine but printer struggled to get hot enough for PLA.

My goals: I am getting into Raspberry and want to make custom cyberdeck case. Thingiesverse does not seem to have much variety for this. Is there cyberdeck focused model repository?
I have 8 y/o daughter. What projects have people had success inspiring kids with?
