Need Help near Montreal!

Post by jacquessavoie »

Hello 3D pro!
I'm near Montreal and I received my new Rostock Max V2 and I just finished to assemble it.
My thermistors don't work.
My motors work weird.
There was no instruction for the connection of the Onix Rev 7 so I'm not sure if it was done correctly.
To resume....I need HELP!
If some one live around Montreal (south shore) and have the same machine, I'm interesting in buying your service!
Let me know!

Si vous parlez francais c'est encore mieux....mais pas obligatoire.

Jacques

Welcome to the forum jacquessavoie!
Sorry to hear that you have so many problems.
Hopefully someone near your area may respond. If not open up a new message under
troubleshooting but give us as much details as you can about the problems.
Start by stating which thermistor is giving you a problem, more info is needed for the motors - stating that
the motors are acting weird is not much detail. Let's see if someone near you responds but don't wait to long
before leaving a message under troubleshooting if no one responds.

On my lcd screen, a big DEF appear beside both thermistors.
As for the motors, I had to change the configuration since they were going in the wrong direction.
When I test the "Home" botton, they just dont go home. They only move 2 cm up.
When they finally touch the END trigger (after a lot of HOME), they don't bounce back. They just stay completely up!

Make sure the endstop wires are on the correct pins of the Rambo. Sometimes they get put on the wrong pins or polarity is not right.
Check the manual again and make sure they are connected as shown in the manual.
