This is my 3D printing story: Years and years ago I build a prntrbot jr v1, I have a background in 3D art and design and wanted to see some of my work come alive. It was fun, but a mighty pain to get good prints off of... it shook the whole house haha.
About six months ago I wanted to get back into the hobby with something better, so I built a Rostock Max v2. Unfortunately I had to put her aside when I stripped out the carriage plastic with the endstop screws. It was heartbreaking seeing her sitting there 99.9% complete but unusable. Recently I've had more time to get her going again, and things are looking really good

I'm amazed at how good the prints are with barely any calibration! I'm now working to get her fine-tuned. I already love this machine

Anyway that's me, how are you?
