Hey from Brisbane Austalia

Post by antony »

I have my first Delta. It's a MAX v2 I bought from a friend. I am not new to 3D printing and built some 30 odd 3D printers over the past 3 years... all Cartesian though.

Was stock till a week ago (had it 3 weeks) and now it has:

Rostock MAX Ball-Cup Delta Arm Kit (all ready had Cheapskates)
CNC Machined Ball Joint Kit
E3D V6 Hotend
Clone BMG Extruder
Reprap Discount Full Graphic Smart Controller

Marlin 2.0.x running on the RAMBo 1.1 board (all ready had).

I have added the AnyCubic Kossel Auto Calibration and Auto Bed Leveling Sensor (the blue magnets unit). The firmware is just a modified Kossel Plus firmware. I have done a quick calibration and I am running a nice long 10hour print to see how it goes.

I'll do a little write up at some point is anyone is interested.

I do have one question for the Devs, or anyone who knows. I didn't see any restrictions of items for sale. I have a heap of genuine New and used SeeMeCNC parts that came with the printer (previous owner was a reseller). Is it ok to sell Genuine parts on this forum?

I'd rather ask and be told "no" then just post in ignorance.

Welcome to the zoo!

I'm pretty sure we've got a for sale board floating around here somewhere. :)
