G'Day fellow H-1 users!
Just registered after lurking for awhile. Waiting on my package to arrive downunder to get busy flicking plastic into different shapes. About 10 days waiting now so shouldn't be far away
Love the cost and concept of the H-1 compared to other printed designs like the Prusa. Have seen printed parts 'delaminate' after little use. Extruded parts would be more accurate and stronger, hence got my hard earned.
Like the layout and assistance,hint's,mods and all the other goodies lurking here
The construction manuals are well organised.
One Q - User manual? does it exist? found reference but no download? If the author would like a new 'green horn' to take it for a test drive, please get in contact

Hey LittlePIC, I am writing the various manuals. The User Manual is not done yet. I have been pretty busy the last couple of weeks. I need to sit down and complete that one. Thanks for the props on the other manuals!

Typical print is generated by
1. Draw model in cad software, like autodesk 123D or Google Sketchup
2. Export STL file from CAD software.
3. Use Slic3r program to generate gcode from STL file. In slic3r, you'll find it easier to begin with settings found in our official docs section on the forum. There's also configuration settings for Mach.
4. Copy gcode file to the pc you're using to control the H-1
5. On the control PC (hooked to the H-1), start Mach3 CNC software and turn on power to H-1. Use the Mach Loader to start Mach with settings downloaded from our forum.
6. Zero x y and z by jogging the H-1 to the center top of the table and clicking "zero" on screen of the digital read out (DRO).
7. In Mach, Open that Gcode file generated by Slic3r.
8. Click cycle start.
