This was posted to the yahoo group a while back and I think it would be useful to archive it here. From what I have read / understand the kit comes with the 4K version that is in this datasheet. This will be useful for anyone trying to use something other than the included temperature board.

The thermistor is SS&C Type G_1396. The last one in the table on page 2.
