The only exception I see with that board is that if you blow out a driver chip it hoses the board unless you can solder surface mount components.
Other than that I love it. It is 100% of everything that you would need to run a printer.

All you need for the surface mount is a pizza oven or a toaster oven with a retroed temp controll. I think I have the link to a how to. I will see if I can find it or I bet it would show up on a google search.

I hear the argument about all-in-one boards but in all the years I've been CNCing I've not once blown a driver or chip! (knock wood). If that happened, at that price, a new board would be reasonable for all you get on it. And when you consider the wiring simplicity, the chances of messing things up are a lot lower. Just a thought!

Yeah it looks nice, but I will stick with my Sanguinololu board. It has replaceable drivers, 99% through hole tech, mCU replaceable/upgradable, small foot print, has been field hardened and tested. Plus I can use the 3 axis driver that came with the H-1 in place of the pololu drivers and save more $$.
Oh, and did I mention how much I hate those micro-USB connectors???
