So I am adding a 15 led light ring onto the hotend platform and wanted a way to control its brightness and be able to turn it off and on, so this is what I came up with. I added voltmeter just because it doesn't hurt to have one and they are cheap. I will be running the wires from the PS to the dimmer and voltmeter, then running them from the voltmeter to the light ring on the hotend. I will probably do the wiring tomorrow and hopefully get my printer illuminated.

So none of the LED mounts I could find seem to work as they are supposed to, so I designed this piece to hold the 60mm LED ring.

It absolutely is. I just got it powered right now, but I need to design up a new layer fan mount since the squirrel cage won't fit due to the lights.Tincho85 wrote:Is that ring dimmable?

I got around to creating a layer fan shroud and have my printer all done! I might make a second layer fan, but I don't use a whole lot of PLA so I will see how it prints when I get around to it with just the one. Here is a link to my layer fan STL. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:858123
