My video on basic e-steps calibration

Post by McSlappy »

I'd been asked to do a video covering e-steps calibration so here it is!

It doesn't go very deep, but hopefully enough information to take the mystery out of it :)

Let me know what you think.
I loved my Rostock so much I now sell them in Oz :)

If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.

I need to do this for my extruder! I'm still using Steve's extruder and when I switched to the smoothieboard, my E-steps somehow got messed up. I don't have it perfect but I found out that under-extruding is much better than over-extruding.

Good job on the video! We can read about it but there is nothing like seeing how it is done.
