Assembly

Post by lv2311 »

Hi,

where can we find the list of all the Rostock parts alongside the photographs.

We are having trouble distinguishing between the different types of screws etc.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick response!!

We found some great videos of 'Part Daddy' Steven assembling the various elements of the Rostock Max, and we got through all 6 videos of the assembly (which was vital to us in putting this together). However we cannot find part 7 to put together the final parts (extruder head and wiring etc).

Do you or anyone know where we can find it?

Thanks
Chorizo

lv2311, Part 7 doesn't exist. I've written an assembly manual that folks seem to like. You can download it at http://www.geneb.org/rostock-max/rostoc ... manual.pdf - it covers the entire assembly, wiring and calibration. I was working on the "Your first print!" section last night when things went all pear shaped due to my inexperience. *facepalm* :) I hope to have that section published as soon as I get my issues straightened out.

If you have any questions, please yell! I'll be happy to help as much as I can.

Totally agree.....also check Barnett's posts (use barnett to search) we had many of the same concerns and are just about ready to print.....if he hasn't started already. It's a weekend project for me at his home... : ((
