glueing PLA to ABS

Post by 10kvclockman »

Hi, I have created some PLA gears and have just printed some ABS hubs. What bonding can I use to join them. I have attached the stl of the two components but they are made of two different plastics, any ideas?

I've used good old 5 minute epoxy to great success. Rough up the surfaces a bit first.

Try superglue (cyanoacrylate)
