Rostock Max v2 HE280 several problems.

First I was having problems with an excessive amount of stringing. tried adjusting the extrusion in Cura but no luck so I eventually tried to re flash the software to the printer and re install Cura. Start with a clean slate. Since the re flash, the excessive stringing persists but to go with it, the print quality is terrible. This is true for both new sliced prints and stuff I had on the SD card. Layers are uneven and weak (See pic)
Beyond this but slightly less important. The printer now makes a really annoying sound every time it hops. Sounds to me like some electronic beep but I'm too deaf to tell you exactly. Doesn't make any unusual sound when printing. Just on the hops.
