Rostock Max v1 (Indiegogo) Bed not flat

Post by jesse »

I'm trying to set up my Rostock Max v1 from the original Indiegogo campaign in 2012.

The bed isn't flat. I adjusted the leveling screws to get it as level as possible.

There are still some odd high and low spots on the bed.

Could it be that the wood under the heated bed has warped? Is there a metal alternative?

Is there an easy way to add auto-leveling to the Smoothieboard electronics?

Check to make sure that the glass is flat and so is the heated bed itself.

No machines ever shipped with the Smoothieboard - that being said, you might want to ask the Smoothieboard guys if they've got an auto-calibration methodology for delta printers.
