Wifi SSID & Password too long for Console command line

Post by biancosplanco »

Hi there,

I just bought a new BossDelta 500 with the Duet Wi-Fi, but I'm stuck at the "connecting to wifi" stage. The SSID and password for my wifi router is one character too long to be input on the Console screen on the printer's touchscreen. Is there any way to split the M587 command between the "S" and "P" portions? Or a way to enter an additional character or expand the console command line?

EDIT: RESOLVED

Turns out you can just delete the space after the S"NetWorkSSID"!

M587 S"NetWorkSSID" P"password" works just as well

:)

The field looks like it's too small, but it will silently side-scroll. :)
