Definition of insanity

Post by timothysvec »

Greetings: Some say the definition of insanity is; doing the same thing over and over, thinking somehow, the outcome will will be different. I like doing that and have even provided a picture to prove it. :D Anyway, could someone out there in forum land lend me a hand. I squared everything, leveled the bed, slowed everything down, am using seeme cnc profile (yoda) and slicer. did belt tension. am running 180F on hotbed and 420F on hot end. 1/8 step with 4 axis mach 3 old pc putting out solid 5 volts. Hmmmmmm what could i be doing wrong? cheers, tim

Did you do the optoisolator mode on the 4 axis board? If not try that.

I had the same issue ,and could never find the solution until I changed the computer. I had mach3 on an old computer and once I changed the computer the slant went away..
