Those parts look super nice.

Being a perfectionist myself, I get what you are saying. But one of the best things about a community like ours is "group development", you never know what the user population will come up with.

This is my solution to the dual ezstruder.

Would it be possible to mount them above for more Z clearance or is there no way to fit them that way.

not with the stock effector plate

ok here are my files

with this design follow the described order for proper installation.

1. slide both hot ends into the slots
2. snap 1 side of the fan shroud onto the collar just above the top cooling fins.
3. rotate the fan shroud until the second extruder snaps into place.
4. put the clamp over the top of the nozzles to lock them in place.
5. tighten down the ptc connectors all the way and cut the extra plastic flange off of the outside, this is a tight fit and is required to get these to not bind inside the effector plate

6. insert screws through head before installation of the fans because they will block the holes, i use a couple tiny drops of superglue instead of screws to hold the 30mm fans in place.

7. install the nozzles so they are parallel with the Y axis (6 holes in the effector plate this makes offset in firmware easiest).
8. if shimming is required just loosen the two screws on the nozzle that needs adjustment and insert shim between effector plate and clamp.

Thank you for posting the files. This is the best setup I have seen and certainly better than anything I have
seen on Thingiverse.

What is the offset value you used?

i set the offset in eeprom, if you align the nozzles with the y-axis there is no x offset.

That's awesome! Looks super clean! Some of the other setups and results I've seen are nothing compared to what you've got running there.

That looks awesome. I'm assuming you used ABS for all the mounts? Seems like PLA that close to the nozzle/heater cartridge would warp really quick due to heat.

yar it is orange abs, you could probably get away with PLA, i would just wrap the heater blocks with insulation first.

alrighty so i have replaced my temp solution for the dual ezstruders with this.

It fits in the standard holes but i had to drill 2 for the filament to feed down. i am also using some of those filament spool rollers using nylon drawer wheels
