I've been dialing in the Tank and I think I have it. This cube was drawn in Alibre 3D then exported as a STL flie to Slic3r for slicing. Gcode loaded into Mach3 and run. Took just over 2 hours to print. I was getting worried because I was very low on filament. Have about 10 feet left. 4 pounds on order.
The cube was drawn at 40x40x40mm. Finished print on a non heated bed was 40.1x40.4x39.88 That give a difference of .0041"x.0157" big and .0048" small on height. I think the height being short was because the first layer is printed at .9 of height.

Chris
I think I just figured out how to save screen shots in windows7 but the machine that has slic3r on it in the shop is XP so I'll have to figure that one out.

Dave,
ALT-Print Screen will copy the active window to the clipboard. Then you can use Paint or Word to save it.

Re: H-1 Tank test cube
Its even easier and better in slicer, post the config file - you can export it using the Save config... button.
You may have to change the file extension to txt in order to post.
cheers,
Michael
