Starting to shop for the stuff not included in the Max 3D kit. (Using geneb's as a guide)
What thickness (mils) and diameter of Kapton tape should I purchase?
(Buying it here, http://www.kaptontape.com/1_Mil_Kapton_Tapes.php are there any less expensive sources?)
What diameter Split Flex tubing and how long?
Would I be well served to keep several resisters on hand?
LEDs? What colors are people using? (Trivial but curious)
Thanks in advance!

I used 3/8" split tubing. The length will vary with how you route the wiring. Buy a package with four feet in it and you'll have a lifetime supply.
The Kapton tape prices are pretty good - you might want to check Amazon too. "kapton tape" for the search. I bought 1/2", didn't pay any attention at all to the thickness of it.

I'm not certain about the "mils" size either, but the Kapton tape is less expensive on EBay.

I got my split flex and RTV at Autozone if there's one near you. I got a green LED from a local electronics store.
