Printrboard Power Resistor

Post by eekflyer »

For those using printrboards, what hot-end power resistor are you using? 100K Ohm for the H1.1?
TIA!

eekflyer, you mean thermistor. Yes, you need a 100K thermistor for a printrboard. The Resistors are the part that create the hear, and they are 6.8 Ohm 3Watt, where as the thermistor READS the temperature and sends it back to the board, and it is 100K Ohm

Thanks, you answered my question. I actually did mean hot tip resistor but stated the wrong value! I still got it wrong. All better now!
